A presentation giving examples of defects and failures in the construction and engineering sectors, exploring the cause of such events from both a technical and human perspective, and how we as engineers can learn from failures.
Dr Sean Brady is a forensic structural engineer who specializes in identifying the cause of defects and failures in the construction and engineering sectors. Sean has acted as an independent expert in numerous proceeding involving a wide range of constructed facilities, including stadia, bridges, wharves, tall buildings, large basements, petroleum vessels and mining structures.
